Although anicells has been up and running for a year, Thursday 30/9 was the time to celebrate. Nathalie Cools, CEO and founder of anicells, along with her team, welcomed more than 70 guests to the official opening. During the opening ceremony, Cathy Berx, the governor of Antwerp, Prof Eva Lion from the University Hospital in Antwerp and Kathleen D’Hondt from EWI explained the importance of a production infrastructure in Antwerp and the focus of Flanders on personalized medicine. And then … the glass was raised to a bright future for anicells. We, the whole anicells team, are very happy to have celebrated this important milestone with all the people who made this project possible and believed in it.
